Synopsis

Gu Changge reveals his knowledge of the remnant soul possessing Ye Chen and tries to persuade the soul to leave Ye Chen's side, highlighting Ye Chen's inadequacy and his own superior capabilities. He cleverly instigates conflict between Ye Chen and the remnant soul, while simultaneously planting seeds of doubt in the remnant soul. The chapter ends with Gu Changge offering a valuable treasure to the soul in an attempt to persuade her further and promising to help Ye Chen.
