Synopsis

Gu Changge reveals his plan to use Bai Lie's injured pride and his desire to protect his fiancee to create an alliance with Ye Ling, subtly orchestrating events from behind the scenes. He then sends an underling to spy on Bai Lie and keep track of his whereabouts, especially in regards to any interactions with Ye Ling. The chapter also introduces Yue Ming Kong, a princess, who is revealed to be someone with a past grievance against Gu Changge, raising the tension between them as they meet again.
