Synopsis

The chapter opens with the aftermath of a failed rebellion, revealing that many spirits and citizens support the opposing faction. Despite the chaos, the protagonist's ally, Changge, appears unphased after defeating a powerful enemy, Yeyao. The protagonist's trusted attendant, Qingzhu, is revealed to be the traitor behind the rebellion and the poisoning attempt, acting under the influence of Yeyao. Qingzhu, manipulated and ultimately killed, leaves the protagonist to question the motivations of those around them, especially Changge.
