Synopsis

The chapter begins with the introduction of a powerful divine beast and its care is delegated to others. Later, the Saintess of the Ancestral Humanity Palace confronts Gu Changge, revealing she understands his seemingly contradictory actions and proposes he become the Humanity's Ancestor to protect him and allow her to truly follow her own will, even if it means betraying her sect. Gu Changge accepts this and asserts his control over the new 'lifeline' that she has proposed.
