Synopsis

The chapter revolves around Tang Wan discovering her brother, Tang Tian, has been captured by Yin Mei, who uses a fabricated scandal to blackmail the Tang family. Tang Wan tries to confront Yin Mei and is surprised by Gu Changge's appearance who was supposedly busy elsewhere. Gu Changge manipulates Tang Wan into accepting a slave mark by threatening to use her brother and family as pawns if she does not comply and also promises to leave Chu Hao alone if he doesn't cause trouble. The chapter ends with Gu Changge swearing upon his Dao heart, while Chu Hao remains unaware of his plight.
