Synopsis

The chapter sees the protagonist musing about cultivation as a journey and suspects that the supposedly dead Lin Tian's body was taken over, possibly for resurrection. He then gains a sudden quest to suppress a 'fortune chosen' with possible connection to his rival, Ye Chen. The protagonist is also seen being heavily fawned over by other powerful figures in the realm while cultivating relationships with Lin Qiuhan.
