Synopsis

The chapter begins with the Golden Qilin clan's young master, Prince Ying, being attacked by assassins seeking his true essence, revealing a link to the demonic arts. He is saved by Gu Changge, but a Saintess from the Ancestral Humanity Palace arrives, intent on punishing the supposed demonic inheritor, and reveals that 'Prince' Ying is significantly weaker than expected and suspected by others. Gu Changge intervenes again, and seemingly defends Ying, but it is revealed that he plans to use the Prince as a scapegoat for his own actions, hinting at the prince being a possessed body.
