Synopsis

Lin Tian's sudden and dramatic improvement in cultivation and medicine sparks suspicion from his sister, Lin Qiuhan, while also piquing the interest of Gu Changge, who sees Lin Tian as a "Fortune Chosen" to exploit. Gu Changge manipulates the situation, pushing Lin Tian to act out rashly and plans to use a life-draining curse against him. The chapter ends with Gu Changge using the curse and believing he has severely impacted Lin Tian's life and intellect.
