Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist barely surviving a self-destructing enemy, leaving him with permanent stat decreases. He's then trapped with a health-draining curse while simultaneously facing a new threat - a stealthy invader bypassing the defenses. The protagonist initiates a risky demon transformation to gain a power boost, however, the battle is fierce and leaves him cornered, seemingly in a trap, as he is unable to utilize his own strategies.
