Synopsis

The chapter opens with a tense atmosphere and a surprise ambush by the Japanese, shattering any hopes for a peaceful resolution. Leaders organize their forces with the intention of retaliating, placing the skilled Mi Rinae in charge of the Hundred Men Troop despite their difficult nature.
