Synopsis

The chapter begins with discussions about increasing the supply of crystal moss, then shifts to the reveal of an elaborate underground shelter with a troubled past. The shelter was built by a paranoid family over generations in anticipation of various catastrophes. Just as the group considers purchasing it, they are contacted by Chief Do Wonkyung, head of a national research laboratory. She offers them the shelter and a lucrative research position to study their unique abilities. Kang Hyunmoo sets conditions including not disputing clan affiliations and confidentiality of research results.
