Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist facing a powerful foe who offers him a 'chance to die,' implying an unfair fight. The protagonist feigns cooperation before revealing he can regenerate, even from lethal injuries, as a result of a title he possesses. He then explains that his repeated deaths were intentional, designed to lure his opponent into complacency, and now uses this gained strength to retaliate. The chapter concludes with the opponent pleading for his life, revealing that his death would doom his people as well, and tries to use protagonist's values of not wanting to harm innocents to buy him a second chance.
