Synopsis

The chapter revolves around the upcoming midterm exams, where Alea feels pressured to perform well not just for grades but also for pride. He discovers that practical scores will be evaluated to a limit, making liberal arts exam scores a key differentiator. Alea is then tricked by Sian into a studying session in a private library room, which is already occupied by Asuka and Helmut. Sian manipulates the situation and makes a bet on who will get first place between Helmut and Asuka, forcing Alea to participate.
