Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the social hierarchy at the Greta Academy, highlighting the conflict between nobles and commoners. Asuka, a notoriously volatile student, gets into an altercation with nobles and is warned by his instructor. Meanwhile, Helmut, a new commoner student, is unfairly punished for being late to class, demonstrating the prejudice faced by lower-status students, with the almond ball exercise revealing the importance of basic training. The instructor’s attempts to mitigate tensions are undermined by ingrained societal prejudice and a system that favors nobles.
