Synopsis

The chapter begins with a dark merchant being questioned by an unknown intruder who seeks details about the recent bloody demonic war. The intruder, who reveals himself as the man who was supposedly killed in the war, learns how the history was manipulated, with the blame shifted onto him and the credit given to someone else. He then arrives at the Namgoong family estate, where he is confronted about a recent fight with his cousin, though he denies involvement. The chapter ends with the family debating who is telling the truth.
