Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist lamenting the lack of useful items in the family's martial storage. He is then confronted by his father, the Family Head, who is initially angry but shows concern for his son's health. The protagonist pleads with his father to allow him to at least observe a martial technique as he feels he will die soon regardless. After initial refusal, his father concedes and escorts him into a more secluded library where more powerful techniques are stored, with a warning that the protagonist must not attempt to learn them.
