Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist seemingly about to torture bandits for information, but it's revealed he's more interested in finding stolen valuables. He cleverly uses their fear to extract the location of their hidden loot, which they confess is held by another clan. He then proceeds to quickly secure the assets for himself, leaving the bandits to be dealt with by wolves. He returns home, where he is given a hero's welcome, although many notice the members of his unit are missing, which are now busy handling the stolen assets.
