Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Heaven Sect addressing the capture of their and other Luoyang Five Heroes' families' children by the Five Peak Stronghold. The bandits demand ransom, with the Waryong Manor facing an exorbitant price compared to the others. This disparity causes friction and accusations, and ultimately leads to a gathering of the five families at the Heaven Sect to discuss the situation and how to approach the bandits. The Waryong Manor feels unfairly targeted, and suspicions and resentment bubble to the surface among the families.
