Synopsis

The chapter depicts the swift and brutal fall of Waryong Manor as its warriors prove incapable of defending against a superior force. The patriarch, realizing the hopeless situation, orders a retreat and abandons the manor, which is then destroyed. Following the destruction, a character driven by intense hatred desecrates the tomb of Yeon Muryong, scattering his bones. The chapter ends with a character realizing the extent of the hatred present.
