Synopsis

The chapter opens with the heroes discovering a sect that was taken over by the Spirit Valley, its members controlled using the soul capture technique. They gather clues, using their enhanced senses, and identify the scent of the Heaven-Destroying Supreme, and a fainter scent belonging to someone else, eventually finding a strand of dark red hair. They deduce that this second person is likely using some sort of demonic art and tentatively name them 'Crimson Black'. The chapter ends with them preparing to show evidence of the soul capture technique to the locals, and their master thinking about a particular girl he saw before.
