Synopsis

The chapter revolves around the main character and his squad as they find the Void and Pure Stone Essence, which is milky rather than stone-like, and not in the mountains south of Shawk as rumors indicated. The golden toad is revealed to be integral for absorbing the essence by biting the user, amplifying its effects. It is also revealed that the rumors about the essence were likely started by someone who deciphered the same document as the "Wise Old Freak", potentially Seon Wooljin of the Thousand Gold Archive.
