Synopsis

The protagonist, representing the Heavenly Grand Archive, is visited by members of the Namgoong Clan who insist he accept an invitation. He initially deflects their attempts with nonchalance, leading them to question his understanding of their clan's power. After the Namgoong escorts attempt to force the protagonist, he feigns an accident, destroying their carriage and killing their horses, thus creating a situation where they have to take him to their clan to address his so-called 'responsibility'. The chapter ends with the protagonist challenging the clan's young master, promising him a unique and deadly end.
