The chapter begins with the protagonist, the Murim Alliance Leader, realizing he's been subjected to a soul exchange and now inhabits the body of a weak, suicidal youth. He's confronted by his 'grandfather', Beom Cheon, who seems aware of the previous inhabitant's suicidal tendencies. After trying to deduce the situation he's forced to confront Beom Cheon's attempt to poison him. The chapter ends with the protagonist, on the verge of death, revealing he's not the grandson, but the Murim Alliance Leader.
The Murim Alliance Leader finds himself in a new body, seemingly that of a suicidal grandson, and struggles to survive a poisoning attempt by his new 'grandfather'. He reveals his true identity in his last moments.
