Synopsis

The chapter begins with characters discussing a 'Heavenly Demon,' which is later connected to a larger plot involving 'singularities.' The main character learns he has met the requirements for new combat techniques based on the sky, not the land. A plan is set for a mission, involving portal research and the replication of technology, that will also include a troublesome companion who insists on joining. The chapter closes with the main character departing.
