Synopsis

The chapter begins with the Heavenly Demon rescuing Chayoon, who's in distress. The Demon reveals the purpose of their lineage's martial arts transfer was to prepare for a 'Great Enemy', which may be related to portals that appeared two years prior. They discuss training, promising Chayoon a large increase in power, and end with a hint of trouble as someone attempts to contact them and encounters a peculiar situation. The chapter also features a humorous scene where the Demon is shocked that his disciple tried to eat an entire elixir at once, showing a softer side to his character.
