Synopsis

The chapter opens with a kingdom conference where two opposing sides debate the best course for the nation's future; one side led by Marquis Terandel focuses on monster defense, while the other, led by Duke Tougenballier, pushes for invading the Hessen Kingdom. The King introduces Ellimis, a mage, further complicating political tensions and also has a run-in with the Countesses suitor, who causes trouble. The chapter also introduces the annual aristocrats conference where, once again, the Duke advocates for invading the Hessen kingdom with the second prince as commander and hints at the mage's potential role.
