Synopsis

The chapter reveals that the Tollian Kingdom is facing internal division between the first and second prince's factions, while the western territory is being ravaged by monsters due to the princes' power struggle. King Ledolph seeks out Ellimis, a mage of extraordinary power, to build a magic tower to deter both monsters and potential wars, and also hopes to secure his position with the third prince. Ellimis is persuaded by the King's genuine desire to protect his people and agrees to assist, but requests three years to complete the task. The chapter ends with the King expressing his worry over the time frame.
