Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the Telia Shop, a seemingly legal organization that is actually a front for a cult and uses predatory lending to control businesses. The protagonist intervenes to save Leveron, a blacksmith, from the shop's debt collectors who were threatening him and his niece. He clears Leveron's debt using money borrowed from another merchant and commissions weapons from Leveron, setting up a business relationship for future interactions. He also discovers a merchant may have a connection to the Telia shop.
