Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist finding the corpse of a Holy Knight and information about the realm they're in. The Inquisitors debate whether to return for reinforcements or continue their original mission. Despite the disagreement, they're ambushed by a corrupted Holy Knight, Everloch, who, after seizing the ESTRA fortress, is attempting to use it to bring about a Ghost Palace, an effort they plan to resist.
