Synopsis

The chapter opens with the group discussing Paru's improved swordsmanship and Dalen considering him for the Holy Knights. They then hear rumors of a village plagued by undead and the imminent return of an immortal devil, forcing a change of plans. An injured character pleads to join the dangerous mission, and Dalen relents and hires him. Dalen also produces a rare mandrake, seemingly to aid the injured companion's recovery.
