Synopsis

The chapter delves into the protagonist's past, revealing his struggles with his father's harsh expectations and his resulting aggressive behavior. He feels a connection to the Great Serpent, now a destructive Gangcheori, due to their shared experience of being deemed failures. Despite wanting to save it, he is confronted with the reality that the Gangcheori is too dangerous to leave alive. He ultimately decides to take on the mission to eliminate the Gangcheori, but struggles with his conflicted feelings, and his teammates offer support.
