Haunted by a prophecy of misfortune and the deaths of loved ones, the protagonist obtains a regression ability allowing him to travel back in time with his memories intact. He also gains a "destiny stealing" ability which grants him numerous powers. He immediately uses these abilities to seek revenge on someone he holds responsible for his suffering before he travels to the past. The chapter ends with him declaring the ability is active and he is finally returning to the past.
