Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist, seemingly in charge of a squad, experiencing the cold weather and training. Later, assigned patrol duty with seemingly friendly soldiers, the protagonist is ambushed. It's revealed the attackers are 'Gray Hounds' sent by Asfen to kill him and they are actually recon mission survivors who were previously wounded. The protagonist realizes their plan and begins strategizing his counter-attack.
