Synopsis

The chapter shows the protagonist undergoing intense training by repeatedly engaging in combat with the same opponent. He struggles initially, but through these repeated engagements, he unlocks the ability to enter a state of deep concentration at will, dramatically increasing his swordplay and physical control. He then challenges the platoon commander, who is surprised by the protagonist's progress and reveals he's been looking for a rival. The chapter ends with the protaganist and squad gathering, ready for the next challenge.
