Synopsis

The protagonist's squad infiltrates an enemy camp, executing a diversion plan that involves setting the tents on fire. However, they are confronted by an exceptionally strong enemy combatant the protagonist has not encountered before. The protagonist realizes they are currently incapable of defeating this opponent, and instead chooses to retreat and preserve their lives, vowing to try again another 'today'. The chapter reveals that the protagonist is in a time loop and that they see this as the best “today” so far.
