Synopsis

The chapter opens with characters discussing the possible circumstances of Landius's death, hinting at a prophecy involving a lethal poison. The narrative then shifts to the protagonist, who has incredibly quickly mastered an initial stage of his training. A hidden history, including the defeat of two Lords of Hell by ancient heroes, is revealed by the protagonist's master, further setting the stage for upcoming battles. The protagonist and his companion also discuss the importance of the newly learned footwork technique which might be connected to the mythical sage.
