Synopsis

The protagonist, initially seemingly losing a gambling game, reveals he was aware of the cheating and had been marking the cards to control them. He uses his past experience controlling golems to manipulate the cards, securing his win and angering the other gamblers. After the confrontation, the protagonist decides to seek wealth in a giant fighting arena, believing his golem control abilities will give him an edge in predicting the winners. He's then confronted by people who are angry at his actions, ultimately prompting him to state that all people deserve protection and not just nobles.
