Synopsis

The chapter reveals that rumors are circulating about the protagonist being a subordinate of Anatolius, a powerful figure on the eleventh floor. This is causing conflict, as aristocrats on the tenth floor, enemies of Anatolius, are preparing to invade the ninth floor. The protagonist, determined to understand the situation and become stronger, decides to accompany a black merchant to the tenth floor despite the danger. The chapter concludes with the appearance of a hero-ranked mercenary, Lama Night-Errant, who challenges the protagonist to a duel, claiming admiration but suspected of being an Anatolius soldier.
