Synopsis

Pendragon encounters Ancona orcs who have broken their contract, claiming he lost his status as a guardian because he failed to form a pact with Soldrake. The orcs seek to conquer the territory and are motivated by a thirst for battle. Pendragon, aware of their motivations and the rules of orc combat, willingly sets aside his weapons to face them, provoking their full power. The chapter ends with an impending full power fight.
