Synopsis

A flood warning is issued due to a Dragon King's mourning, forcing residents to seek shelter, and mysterious, dangerous worms appear. The protagonist, while seeking shelter, obtains sprouted seeds of a medicinal plant called Purgatory Grass, which they then use their breathing technique to cultivate rapidly. The protagonist then begins to experiment with absorbing the energy produced by the plants, while questioning why some of the energy is not absorbed. The chapter ends on a note that the heat is different from what they have previously encountered.
