Synopsis

The chapter narrates GUMIJININ's backstory, starting with his possession by a ghost and his subsequent manipulation by a scholar into joining Lady Yuhwa's pavilion. He learns about Earth Dragon Arts, dedicating himself to training, but eventually discovers that this power has sinister implications within the immortal realm. GUMIJININ expresses his disgust with these immortal practices and reveals his intent to aid those who can overcome his protections to destroy the cursed pavilion. Finally, he reveals seeds within the container and notes that the beat he feels is not related to them.
