Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist being mocked as bait before a larger fight begins. The antagonists, who are targeting the "Disciple of the Flame Tower's Master," launch a frontal attack rather than hiding. The protagonist then questions them about the scouts sent prior, which they seem to know nothing about. The chapter concludes with the reveal of a powerful spear, and the beginning of a more direct confrontation.
