Synopsis

The chapter opens with the people of the Bay Regions learning that Prince Raymond went to the Dark Blade Guild to protect them, leading them to rally in his support. Meanwhile, Raymond is being held hostage by Toms, a strong mana user, and uses his "Heart of Steel" to remain calm and find a way out. He discovers evidence of Toms's crimes and bribes while also upgrading his stats and skills in an attempt to escape, eventually overpowering Toms with a surprising burst of strength, while thinking his ally, Kansir, would arrive to help.
