Synopsis

Raymond, a noble from the Imperial family, returns to the slums he once lived in to treat a mysterious disease that the locals believe is a "God's curse." He identifies it as syphilis and explains its curable nature, offering hope to the afflicted. Despite initial skepticism and fear of contagion, he insists on treating the patients in the most afflicted area, Crescent Street, while his companion decides to join him, showing their commitment to aiding those in need.
