Synopsis

Raymond declines proposals from the Maple and Raoul clinics, both known for being profit-driven, opting instead to open his own clinic in the impoverished and lawless Bay Region. This decision surprises many, including the royal family who had intended to use his skills for their benefit. Raymond's true motive is a mix of ambition, a desire to treat more patients, and a connection to the Bay Region, having grown up there himself, not seeing it as a dangerous hellscape but as simply his home. He also seeks to master his medical techniques without judgment.
