Synopsis

Raymond, facing skepticism about his medical abilities, takes on a difficult surgery, needing Hansen's assistance to prep the area and equipment. Meanwhile, an injured assassin, tasked with delivering sensitive information, manages to reach a clinic where Raymond is working, forcing Raymond to decide whether or not to treat him and risk his reputation. The chapter also introduces a political plot, with characters discussing Raymond’s increasing popularity and other princes who want to keep him from gaining power. Raymond also acknowledges his lack of knowledge in treating major injuries but still wants to do it.
