Synopsis

The protagonist initially struggles against a formidable opponent, the Old Tree Blood Demon, who possesses immense strength and demonic energy. Recognizing the enemy from a novel he read, he realizes this is a mid-level boss with supreme martial prowess. The protagonist's companion, Cheonhee, intercedes and challenges the demon to a fight in the protagonist's stead to avoid the humiliation of the demon fighting a child, revealing a strong sense of loyalty. The chapter concludes with the beginning of the battle between Cheonhee and the Old Tree Blood Demon.
