Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist recovering from a recent battle and feeling the need to train, though he is conflicted about relying on his demonic powers. He then gets into a humorous exchange with a friend about his appearance and recent events. The chapter takes a turn when the protagonist is suddenly attacked by an old man with a seemingly magical staff, which the protagonist can barely react to. The protagonist struggles to understand his abilities in the face of this new and overwhelming opponent.
