Synopsis

A chapter begins with a monstrous demon reveal, then shifts focus to a group tasked with a rescue mission into a dangerous forest, where they find they must scout three separate entrances. One arrogant warrior volunteers to enter one entrance alone, claiming he can complete the task quickly. The others form two teams to search for the original missing scouting party and, upon discovering a lone member of that team, realize their mission has changed to rescue rather than simply to scout. They then wonder about the lone scout.
