Synopsis

The chapter begins with the introduction of several warrior examinees, notably Situ Liu, known as the 'Unsmiling Rakshasa,' who is highly skilled, and Ang, who initially appears to be weak with incredibly low scores in the fitness tests. The first round of physical fitness tests is completed, showcasing Situ Liu's impressive strength and Ang's failure. Despite his poor performance, Ang is surprisingly allowed to proceed to the second round of tests which involves synchronization with grafting equipment, a skill he claims to have once excelled at. The chapter ends with a showcase of other examinees doing well, contrasting Ang's poor results with Situ Liu's and others, leading the audience to wonder if Ang is more than he seems.
